Instagram造園デザイン科3年生は「造園施工管理」という授業で、校内の設備や庭園の施工・管理を行っています。実習では3つの班に分かれ、各現場で安全性・機能性を確保しているかの調査や新設作業などを行ってきました。
３年生が１年間かけた作業の過程と実習の様子をそれぞれご紹介します♪また、今後の課題は後輩に受け継ぎ、これからも久留米筑水高校の環境整備を徹底していきます！
Third-year students in the Landscape Architecture and Design Department are working on the construction and management of the school’s facilities and gardens in a class called “Landscape Architecture and Construction Management. The students are divided into three groups for practical training, and each group conducts surveys and new construction to ensure the safety and functionality of each site.
Below, third-year students will introduce the process of work and practical training that they have been engaged in over the past year♪ In addition, future tasks will be passed on to the younger students to thoroughly improve the environment at Kurume Chikusui High School!
板石班 – Stone Slab Group
板石班では、２学期の「コンクリート工」の授業で板石を作成したので、中庭の通路の板石の張替えを行っていきました。中庭は人が通る場所なので、段差があると怪我をしてしまうから水平作業を徹底して行いました。
The stone slab group replaced the stones slab in the courtyard pathway, since the stones slab were made in the “Concrete Construction” class in the second semester. Since the courtyard is a place for people to pass through, any difference in the level of the slabs could cause injury, so we made sure that the work was level.
生徒の感想
板石の施工をしたことがなかったので、身の回りにどのようにして、施工されているかを、実際に行ってみて、板石の強度や、高さを合わせて、安全性・機能性を理解することができました。
今後の課題は、板石以外を利用する際に、安全性・機能性を意識して、製作をしていきたいです。そのために、工夫できるところは取り入れていき、不具合を最小限にしていきたいです。
Student Comments
I had never handled sheetrock before, but now I understand how it is used in our surroundings and understand its strength, height, safety, and functionality.
In the future, I would like to be aware of safety and functionality when using materials other than sheetrock in my work. To this end, I would like to incorporate innovations to minimize defects.
施工班 – Construction Group
施工班では、正門付近の駐車場の竹垣作成を行いました。腐った竹垣を解体する作業から行い、親柱が腐らないようにするために、丸太を切って炙って黒くする作業も行いました。
The construction team built a bamboo fence in the parking lot near the main gate. The work began with the dismantling of the rotting bamboo fence and also involved cutting and searing the new logs to blacken them, preventing rotting of the main posts.
生徒の感想
竹垣を制作するためには、ズレが生じないように計画を立てることが大切だと分かりました。また、親柱をガスバーナーで焼くことによって、虫など、腐らないようにする効果があると学ぶことができました。
今後の課題は、シュロ縄をもっときつくかたく締めれるように頑張ります。また、他の竹垣も調査して、制作していきたいです。
Student Comments
I learned that it is important to build bamboo fences systematically so that there are no misalignments. We also learned that burning the main pillar with a gas burner helps protect against insects and rot.
As for future tasks, we will work hard to make sure the ropes are tight. I would also like to research and make other bamboo fences.
ベンチ班 – Bench Construction Group
ベンチ班では、中庭にあるテーブルに似合うようなベンチ制作を行いました。試作品の青のベンチを参考に完成版の白いベンチを中庭に設置しました。また、模様に犬の足跡を付け可愛いいデザインにしました。
This group built a bench to match the patio table. Using a prototype blue bench for reference, the completed white bench was installed in the courtyard. The bench was decorated with dog footprints to create a cute design.
生徒の感想
初めてベンチ作りをしましたが、みんなの協力があったので中庭に合うベンチを作ることができ、完成させることができました。ペンキ塗りなど、２度塗りをしたらムラなく良い色になるということや、ベンチの作り方などについてこの実習で詳しく知ることができて良かったです。
今後の課題は、もっと中庭に合うベンチの数を増やしていきたいことや、木材の耐久性や色などの状況が良いか確認をこまめにしていくことです。
Student’s Comment
This was my first time making a bench, but with everyone’s help, I was able to create and complete a bench that looked great in the courtyard. I am glad that I was able to learn more about painting and bench making through this training, such as the fact that two coats of paint are necessary to achieve an even and beautiful finish.
Future tasks include increasing the number of benches that fit in the courtyard and frequently checking the durability and color of the wood to keep it in good condition.
