【①筑後川遺産登録 授与式】
造園デザイン科では地域の魅力のひとつである”櫨”の魅力普及のために様々な活動を行っています。
The Landscape Design Department is engaged in various activities to promote the appeal of "Haze", one of the attractions of the region.
その活動のひとつである”筑後川遺産登録”の認証式に参加しました🌠
We participated in the certification ceremony for the "Chikugo River Heritage Registration," which is one of these activities.
筑後川遺産とは、筑後川の恩恵を受けながら発展してきた地域の歴史や文化を掘り起こし、それらをつなぐストーリーを可視化することで、多くの人に魅力を伝える取り組みです。Ｒ６年の３月より計１２回の会議を行いました。その活動が実り、５月１日（木）に久留米市長 原口 新五 様より登録証の授与をしていただきました🏆
The Chikugo River Heritage is an initiative to convey the appeal of the region to many people by unearthing the history and culture of the region that has developed while benefiting from the Chikugo River and visualizing the stories that connect them. A total of 12 meetings have been held since March 2014. As a result of these activities, we were presented with a registration certificate by Kurume City Mayor Shingo Haraguchi on Thursday, May 1st.

【②Hachiman Hand Candle Massage Experience in Kyosei no Sato Araki, a Comprehensive Care Center for the Elderly】
櫨からとれる木蝋・樹木の精油であるギンバイカを使用して作製した櫨のキャンドルを活用してハンドマッサージを行いました✋🕯
We gave a hand massage using a wax candle made from myrtle essential oil and wax extracted from the wax tree.
体験会を実施する前にハンドマッサージの方法を久留米市でキャンドルマッサージをされている松尾 利香様にお越しいただき、教えていただきました🍃
Before the trial session, we had Rika Matsuo, who does candle massage in Kurume City, come and teach us how to do hand massage.
５月２９日（木）、高齢者総合ケアセンター 共生の里荒木 様を訪れ、利用者の皆様・職員の皆様にハンドキャンドルマッサージ体験会を実施しました☆
On Thursday, May 29th, we visited the General Care Center for the Elderly, Kyosei no Sato Araki, and held a hand candle massage experience event for the residents and staff.

「いいにおいがして癒された」「手がつやつやになった」と喜びの声をたくさんいただきました♪
We received many happy comments such as "It smells good and it's soothing" and "My hands are so shiny"♪
私たちの活動が、利用者の方・職員の方のハンドケア・心のケアに繋がると嬉しいです💖
We hope that our activities will lead to better hand and mental care for users and staff.
これからも櫨の魅力を普及できるように頑張ります💪
